Job Title: Assistant Consultant / Consultant
Working For: Turley
Salary: Excellent remuneration and flexible benefits package
Length of Contract: Permanent role
Turley is a planning and development consultancy operating nationally across the UK and Ireland. We are looking for an energetic and eager Assistant Consultant/Consultant to join our Strategic Communications team in Bristol.
At Turley we believe in shaping better places - and to create great places you must involve people. Turley Strategic Communications focuses on delivering successful planning outcomes through intelligent and effective communications with communities and stakeholders.
We are seeking an Assistant Consultant/Consultant with passion for communications, politics and people. If you are a motivated individual with a desire to gain or build upon your experience in the communications industry and have a strong interest in politics, PR, communications, the built environment or development sector, this opportunity could be for you.
Previous communications or consultancy experience (employment or placement) is preferred but not essential. What is important is your ability to learn quickly, to proactively manage your workload to meet deadlines and develop relationships whilst working within a highly professional team.
You will support the Strategic Communications team primarily in Bristol with work across the rest of the UK supporting a full range of projects and clients.
We have a fresh and bespoke approach to communicating on our schemes and create a bespoke strategy for each project to deliver a meaningful, constructive and robust process which engages with the audience in a way that interests them.
Our projects range widely in size, sector and location. For example, over the past four years our Bristol team have been supporting stakeholder and community relations for a number of expansion projects for Pinewood Studios, alongside innovative housing projects, urban regeneration projects, major infrastructure schemes and earlier this leading the stakeholder and community consultation for the multi-million development project at the Centre for Alternative Technology; it is an exciting time to join our team.
