Job Title: Policy and Regulatory Affairs Associate
Working For: Association of Foreign Banks

The sucessful candidate will support the following activities:
(a) providing access for AFB members to government, policy makers and regulators; (b) collecting, aggregating and representing members’ views and opinions to help shape and influence the UK political and regulatory agenda on behalf of AFB members; and (c) scanning the policy and regulatory horizon and provide input on topics for AFB events, training and publications.
Applicants will need to have:
• a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree or postgraduate degree, ideally in economics, law or politics
• knowledge of wholesale bank/financial regulation/policy issues in the UK gained from study or a previous current role
• a minimum of six months’ experience in financial services and/or public affairs/government department (internship and work experience placements included)
