Salary: £38,272.46 (inclusive of London weighting), PRO RATA for the part-time role

National TULO (Labour Unions) is seeking to recruit a Full-time Campaigns and Political Officer and a Part-time Training and Mobilisation Officer to work in our team in Westminster. (Due to the pandemic, we are currently working remotely and we are open to discussions about hybrid working arrangements in the future.)
We are a small team, so we are looking for candidates to work proactively, flexibly and collaboratively, and who share our deep commitment to bringing the collective voices of 4 million trade unionists to the heart of the Labour Party and transforming the lives of working people for the better.
Campaigns and Political Officer (Full-time)
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality campaigns and for supporting the political work of TULO to enhance the collective voice of the affiliated trade unions within the Labour Party. The successful candidate will also need excellent communication skills, experience of planning and leading campaigns, and the ability to build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders.
Training and Mobilisation Officer (Part-time - 0.5 FTE)
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a programme of training and development for trade union members to increase their political activism in the Labour Party, in order to increase the pool of union members with the knowledge, skills and experience to stand for elected office and to mobilise activists to lead campaigning for Labour at election time. They will be responsible for working closely with the TULO Committees in the English Regions and Scotland and Wales to support them in delivering the TULO strategy.
