The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) is the membership organisation and professional voice for environmental health. We set and raise standards to improve public health, supporting our members and influencing policy.

Our goal is simple: to enable safer, cleaner, and healthier environments for the benefit of people, business and local communities. CIEH and our members have had a key role to play in supporting government efforts to combat COVID-19, and this, alongside our continuing work on food and environmental standards, housing, and cosmetics, will be a central focus for us going forwards.
The role of Policy and Public Affairs Executive supports the Policy and Campaigns team. Working with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, you will play a key role in driving forward our policy development and outputs across a wide range of policy areas.

We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised individual with proven experience of working in a similar setting and a keen interest in politics and the media.

Fulltime (35 hours a week), 6-month fixed term contract.
Salary £26,000 per annum, pro-rata.
Based – Homebased for the foreseeable future (normally central London)
