Job Title: Communications Intern + REMOVED
Working For: Local Trust
We’re looking for a recent graduate or post-graduate in a relevant subject to join us and help deliver the most radical and exciting community investment programme in living memory.
Local Trust was established in 2012 to deliver Big Local, a unique programme that puts residents across the country in control of decisions about their own lives and neighbourhoods.
Funded by an endowment from the National Lottery Community Fund it provides in excess of £1m of long-term funding over 10-15 years to each of 150 local communities, through the Big Local programme.
The communications intern will join the team at an exciting time, with Big Local now at the midway point we are using learning from the programme to inform policy, as well as continually supporting Big Local areas to develop skills and ideas to effectively deliver their plans.
Learning to utilise a range of tools and channels, the communications intern will gain valuable knowledge of how to engage a range of different audiences, using everything from newsletters to events and social media to research reports.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with a keen eye for detail, flare for writing and a creative mind to start a career in communications in a fast-paced friendly setting.
