For nearly two centuries the Royal Society for Blind Children has been supporting blind and partially sighted children, young people, and their families. We help every young person we work with to find and fulfil their own unique potential. RSBC works with 1,200 children and young people and aims to vastly increase the number of children and families that we support in the next few years.

Are you a good communicator with proven leadership skills who has the talent and drive to lead our marketing and communications work in a crucial time in RSBC’s growth plans?

You will lead on the development and implementation of the second phase of our key awareness and fundraising campaign and ensure that our messaging is emotive, hard hitting and integrated across the organization.

You will have strong skills and experience across the marketing and communications spectrum, ideally with a strong interest in digital marketing and social media strategy. You will also need management experience to motivate and support a young and energetic team. Charity experience is a distinct advantage.

You need to have ambition, energy and clear strategic thinking, in order to increase the reach, profile and impact of the charity. You should also demonstrate commitment to improving the lives of visually impaired children and their families.
