Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is seeking a Researcher to join our high performing Labour Team.

Essential requirements

We are seeking a Researcher to join our high performing Labour Team. Candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ research work in the field of labour rights, or related work in human rights, or social justice
  • Proven experience in high quality research on business & human rights and preferably labour rights
  • The ability to take initiative and drive work forward independently, while being a strong team player
  • A strong commitment to advancing labour rights in the business sector
  • The right to work in the UK

The successful candidate will play a key role in our growing Labour Team, with emphasis on the apparel sector. They will report to the Senior Project Lead. The Labour Team is an international team made up of researchers and project managers based in London and internationally. The team is headed by our Director for Labour Rights (based in Washington D.C.) and works dynamically to implement our ambitious labour programme. The successful candidate will undertake research to keep the labour coverage on our website up-to-date, seek responses from companies to human rights allegations, help organise and coordinate labour events and research and write briefs on labour rights issues internationally.
