Job Title: Caseworker and Communications Assistant
Working For: Damian Collins MP (Folkestone and Hythe)
Salary: circa £20,000
Damian Collins, MP for Folkestone and Hythe and Chair of the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee, is looking for a caseworker and communications assistant to join his team. The responsibilities include, assisting with local campaigns and events, liaising with councillors, and other local organisations and stakeholders, and assisting the MP with constituency surgeries and casework.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have strong planning and organisational ability, awareness of or proficiency in the use of social media, and excellent written and oral communication skills. It would also be helpful, but not essential, for the candidate to have a driving license.
The advertised salary for this job is based on a full-time position, but there is an opportunity for this to be part-time, or for flexible working hours to be agreed.
