This is an outstanding opportunity to kick-start your career in public relations and affairs within a highly influential organisation, at the heart of the charity sector.
With a high level of responsibility from day one, supported by a package of training and development, you make a crucial contribution to NCVO’s important work. You have a key role in helping us secure media coverage as well as collaborate with a range of external stakeholders from parliament, the media and our members.
You are an effective team player with excellent communication skills. Your potential is as important to us as your experience and you’ll already have an interest in the media and politics, with some knowledge of public policy and the voluntary sector.
With excellent analytical skills, you are competent and experienced in handling statistics and researching information. Well organised, you manage and prioritise your work efficiently and work on your own initiative.
Each day, millions of people make a difference to the causes they believe in through voluntary organisations and volunteering.
This thriving voluntary sector and volunteer movement are essential for a better society – especially in times of challenge and change.
That’s why, inspired and empowered by our 13,000 members, NCVO champions the voluntary sector and volunteering. We do this by connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations, from the smallest community groups to the largest charities.
NCVO is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from everyone.
