Integrity UK was founded in 2014 as a unit within the International Centre for Integration & Cohesion. Our aim is to ensure that the MENA region is represented and analysed in an impartial, unbiased and nuanced manner, in order to provide the world with a clearer perspective on current affairs.

This role will be suited for someone who is forward thinking, enjoys taking on responsibility, and has an active interest in the Middle East.
The interns, being part of a small and friendly team, will be working on Integrity's lead project, Al Shahid News. However, they may also take part in research work, monitor events from the MENA region, upload content to project websites, and, if interested, have the opportunity to develop their writing and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of the Middle East
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a small team
- Flexible approach to work and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Arabic language capabilities
- Knowledge of events in Iraq and Syria
The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish. If the post demands set hours and/or has a specific job description you may be deemed to be a ‘worker’ and be covered by National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage legislation.
