Salary: £39,546 PA (rising to £41,582 after one year)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Policy and Public Services team for an individual with solid experience of policy development and excellent communication skills.
In this key role, you will carry out policy analysis and development in a range of areas relevant to the voluntary sector and volunteering, with a particular focus on legal and regulatory issues. You will also be responsible for the communication of policy positions to government and external stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with:
- excellent policy analysis and writing skills, including speechwriting, writing briefings and developing policy from research and member engagement
- the confidence to engage and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including those at senior level
- excellent project management skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
