Job Title: Political Contributors
Working For: trenchtalk
trenchtalk is a new non-partisan blog written by and for members of the wide political community, from Conservatives to Old/New Labour, UKIP to Plaid Cymru, feminists to libertarians.
We aim to cut through the rigid political agenda of many news sites and simply provide interesting commentary from all sides of the divide, both inside and out the Westminster bubble.
Whether you’re a political junkie or just a 9-5 politico, put your thoughts out there. We’ll welcome pieces on Westminster manoeuvrings, national or international issues, local or devolved stories, policy recommendations etc.
We have no political goal, no set writing format, and no particular demographic. So long as it’s interesting and inoffensive, we’ll publish it.
Submissions should be no more than 650 words.
The role being advertised is a voluntary one. As such, there are no set hours and responsibilities and you should be free to come and go as you wish. If the post demands set hours and/or has a specific job description you may be deemed to be a ‘worker’ and be covered by National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage legislation.
