Integrity UK is looking to recruit one Arab Media Analyst Intern.

As this is a voluntary role there are no fixed hours or responsibilities. Nonetheless, interns play a vital role in the organisation and there will be plenty of opportunities for career and personal development. This is also an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in an NGO environment and in Middle East-related work.

The interns, being part of a small and friendly team, may take part in monitoring several Middle Eastern based media outlets; occasionally provide punctual translations of selected footage from Arabic into English; and, will be required to upload and write content for our project website. If interested, the interns also have the opportunity to develop their analytical and research skills.

Essential skills
- Good knowledge of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region
- Good written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a small team
- Flexible approach to work and ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Strong Arabic language capabilities

Desirable skills
- Knowledge of events in Iraq and Syria
