Job Title: Parliamentary Assistant

Graham Stuart MP is looking for a full-time Parliamentary Assistant to work as a core member of his Westminster team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in Parliament as a Parliamentary Assistant.
The main responsibilities of the role are to keep the Westminster diary, provide briefings to the MP, draft policy casework replies, offer policy advice to constituency caseworkers, and manage constituency campaigns and interns.
Upon appointment you will be required to comply with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard, undertaken by the Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO). See Members’ Staff Verification Office (MSVO) page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.

Interviews will take place w/c 1 May, but an appointment may be made earlier if a suitable candidate comes forward before then. The ideal start date is Monday 8 May, but we can be flexible.
